Are there pyramids in Hawai'i?
By Luemas of Chant It Down
Can pyramids be found in Hawai’i? If you ask almost anyone in Hawai’I, they’re going to say there are no pyramids in Hawai’i. Archeologists will say no, and so will 99% of the residents, so why should anyone think there is? Before diving into that, we should take into consideration there have been pyramids found on every continent, or rumors of them being on every continent. (Antarctica would be a hard one to investigate) Even places that people normally don’t search, such as China or Indonesia. Not only that, but there’s been pyramids found on isolated islands. The Canary islands have them, same with the Azores. the Mauritius islands have some, and so did Tahiti. Captain cook spotted a pyramid on the shores of Tahiti, in Papara. He journaled it, and called it “a magnificent specimen of indian culture”. That same pyramid was later deconstructed and many of the stones were used to build roads. Bosnia has some too, and I visited there for the documentary, but it is inconclusive at this time, whether or not they are legit or not. So why not in Hawai’i? It should be noted, that none of the present indigenous cultures in any place in the world, built pyramids. Nobody claims to have the knowhow, and nobody even understands the purpose of them. That also goes, for giant megaliths worldwide. Things we can’t replicate, or construct today, that challenge the human timeline of going from primitive to advanced in one linear line. Native Hawaiians and many Polynesians built rock structures that were alters. in Hawai’i we call those Heiaus, which are featured a little bit in ‘Sacred Sight’ the documentary. They were not pyramid shaped, nor were they done with carved megaliths. (Although, there are some decent sized stones at some locations) Many of these structures were also recreated in modern times, when there was a renaissance of respect for Hawaiian and Polynesian heritage. However, these could be echoes of pyramid sites, or places where pyramids once possibly stood. Many spots where temples are built worldwide, are on lay lines and do have a meaning of placement. Many people would claim that Hawaii is far too isolated to have had foreigners come and build pyramids here, because Hawai’i is the most isolated island chain in the world. One way to properly view this is, pyramids were possibly here before the known cultures were here. Many people speak of the sunken continent of Mu, that once spanned the south pacific. People like James Churchward, have done extensive work on this, and it shouldn’t be dismissed as a possibility in the lost chapters of our history. There has been rumors of pyramids here in Hawai’i and alleged claims, but very few have actually taken the time to explore, or even considered investigating the claims. That is partly what ‘Sacred Sight’ explores. We have set out to find the remnants and investigate these claims. It turns out there were, and are a few here in the islands. There has been a cover-up many places in the world of this megalithic ancient past that had the knowhow, to build pyramids, and giant megalithic walls. Hawai’i is no exception from this cover-up. Finding things like pyramids in places that are not in textbooks changes history, and the powers that control this world, do not want the lid blown off of this. ’Sacred Sight’ does this, in Hawaii and Australia, as well. The following is a description of the journey of our Hawai’i discoveries: Kaua’i On the island of Kauai, there is a mountain that is perfectly 3 sided. This was given to us as a possible lead by an independent source. A local has told our source that it is one of 5 pyramids on Kauai. The pyramid is completly overgrown with vegetation, that is all introduced since colonial times, so possibly this pyramid was bare before, or possibly, it has been covered with dirt since a giant cataclysm. Is this the world’s first 3 sided pyramid? This location is remote. There is no trail to the top, and the hike was extremely taxing, due to little to hold onto climbing up it’s steep terrain. Cane grass and thorns tore us apart, along with 100% humidity. In many cases, we were on all four’s, trying to crawl up it’s steep slopes, with nothing much grab onto. Determining if an overgrown mountain is a pyramid is not an easy thing to do. We only made it to the top once, and that time, this was only supposed to be a scouting mission, so all I had was my compass. On top, the compass changed when set on the rocks. It was indeed some type of magnetic field, so this pyramid had an energy field of some sort. A carved stone was found on top, that was later approved by a geologist, as a carved stone. The edges were sharp and exact. There actually was a row of rocks sticking out of the dirt, but I didn’t have time to try to attempt to pull them out, to examine them, not to mention, we were extremely exhausted from the hike. I had left the rental car in place that was possibly not a trustworthy area to leave for hours, so getting back soon became the priority. Although there is need for lidar, and other investigations to be done, this is a huge beginning discovery, and just being able to find anything at all, is pretty amazing in itself, while going against the grains of an arrogant conventional society, that would say otherwise. This Kauai location will be revisited at some point, for the work of the sequel to Sacred Sight. Big island (Hawai'i island) On the Big island, we faced a different challenge. There is a book that we dubbed “the mysterious book” to keep the location being exploited by unexperienced explorers and novice hikers. In this book, a man finds a pyramid on his own, being drawn to it from the coastline, looking inland. He finds it, through an all day hike. The book gives vague clues, but doesn’t reveal the exact location. There are even a few people who speak of it existing on this part of the island, but won’t divulge the location. So, we have vague instructions from a book, and very little to go by, with vastness of Hawaiian wetland forest to search through. It literally is a needle in a haystack. There is a history to the search for this pyramid. Zach Royer https://www.zachroyer.com/ pioneered the search for this pyramid in 2015 after 3 Swiss explorers who had read the same mysterious book, came up short handed. Zach even got a hold of the Author of that book years ago. The Author said, it had been a very long time since he had gone to it, and last time he did, he got lost in sugar cane so dense, that he turned around. Still too vague of instructions to find the structure. Zach went on 2 separate journeys in search of it, and still nothing. Zach had halfway given up, so that’s where i come in years later. (please check out his blog on https://www.zachroyer.com/royertheexplorer/sacred-sight-documentary-lost-pyramids-of-hawaii In May of 2024, I linked up with Ceb Bland, a local comedian, writer, and friend, who knew I was constructing a documentary on ancient sites. I thought it would be great to add a pyramid in Hawai’i, to my world travels, and put a piece of home in the documentary. What I thought might be an easy find, and an easy site to add in my footage, turned into unraveling the search for many sites here in Hawaii. I didn’t realize the door I was about to open, in a place that I was even was pretty certain, there was no links to the megalithic map. Our first journey, was fruitless and we got rained out. I actually destroyed my phone and camera, setting me back financially. Even setting the documentary back a notch. There was no way to even spot it on a day like that, with poor visibility from low hovering rain clouds. There had to be more to this, I thought. The only thing that came up when searching online for a pyramid in Hawai’i, was Zach Royer's website and that’s where i was able to fill in some more important clues to this puzzle. Zach had started the hunt years before. About a month later, Zach met me on Oahu, at an alleged pyramid site i was investigating, that turned out to be only a mountain. Combining our notes, we decided to give it a joint effort, so in November of 2024, me, Ceb and Zach all joined forces, in search for this lost pyramid. We became a team of knowledgable explorers motivated in search of something, nobody is looking for. For a practice run, we even try to find a “pyramid site” some YouTube hoaxers put out in the world, but we came up empty on that search. The morning of, after crashing on Zach’s couch, Zach and I were greeted by a low flying UFO, that was actually flying in the exact direction of the pyramid and toward where Ceb lives. This seemed like a good omen to the adventure that lies ahead. We had our packs geared up ready for 2 days in the jungle. We started up an old road but, we were eventually kicked off of private property. This diverted us up a mountain top, because we didn’t want to loose the distance traveled inland by walking back out the old road. Our energy was drained, so we made camp on top of a flat mountain. This unfortunately depleted our resources, but on the optimistic side, we saw an unforgettable display of UFO’s in the night sky. There was definitely something magic to this journey. It certainly didn’t seem like a coincidence that a UFO had greeted us early that morning. Some interesting information was given to us via text on Zach’s phone about the pyramid, that you can catch in the documentary. The next morning we were on the search for water. We found a tank in a field for cattle to drink, so we used our water filters to drink the water. It was actually a life saver. There was definitely a defeated feeling about that day. We knew we didn’t even come any closer to finding the pyramid. Ceb had to return back to his home to tend to his family, but Zach and I had an extra day to continue the search. We decided to start from where the book said, that you could see the pyramid on a clear day, so me and Zach, started from scratch, and went to that viewpoint. It was a rare clear day, and if the mysterious book was correct, we could see a possible peak sticking up. We took a risk on picking a peak that was the closest thing resembling a pyramid. So we aimed, and drove toward it, trying get as close as possible following old plantation roads. We arrived at a coffee farm, and got a unobstructed look at a pyramidal peak before us. It certainly could be it, but what happened next, was unexpected. A Hawaiian Auntie working in the coffee farm, told us about the peak we were looking at. She first told us the Hawaiian legend, and that also, some believe it to be an ancient pyramid. Both of us looked at each other. this was the tip we needed. We were somehow being guided, it felt like. You can see all of this play out in ‘Sacred Sight’. The Lady told us how to get closer via an old dirt road, so we followed the road till it washed out. From there, we set out on foot. Even though the pyramid shaped peak was pretty close, the obstacles in the way were easy to underestimate. There was actually a small trail, that perhaps hunters use occasionally, but it eventually led us farther away from the pyramid. We eventually had to veer off of the main trail with our machetes and make our own trail. We didn’t have any marker tape to mark our way, so we used fresh cut ferns to mark our trail. Our GPS on both of our phones ran out, so we had to use a drone to keep us on track toward the pyramid peak. Many dangerous gulches were in our trajectory to climb in and out before finally arriving to the base of it. If it is a pyramid, how can you tell when it’s so buried in some much overgrowth? Zach brought his tri-field meter, and the readings were not much of anything. The results were inconclusive. Again, i used my compass to give it a test like i did with Kauai. Nothing happened. Had we gotten the directions from the mysterious book wrong? The directions were pretty vague, and probably on purpose. The Big island has many large areas of land that are vast, no man’s land, and this area was no exception. With little to go by, it had to be put on hold. We had to make it out of there before dark, almost getting lost, and get to the airport, for my flight back to Oahu. This investigation is ongoing. we may have found a giant buried pyramid, or just a mountain. Next adventure will require lidar with hopefully the right funding to be able to attain it. We also need more local intel. Searching dense forest for something so vague, makes for a very difficult hunt, and without more clues to narrow it down it is indeed a needle in a haystack situation. If what we found is it, we will figure it out, or if it is in this region, we will eventually find it. Conclusion Since these excursions, many more evidences have come our way, that there are pyramids or remnants, here in hawaii. the story keeps on unfolding to us. So, yes, there are pyramids in Hawai’i. they are very hidden, and the work is continuous. Finding pyramids in Hawai’i, changes history. It shows that an advanced global civilization went even to the most isolated islands in the world and constructed pyramids. Pyramids were a worldwide common architecture, for unknown purposes, and Hawai’i was not left out. Somehow they are out here too, or were they here from before the younger dries period, and were they part of Mu? See ‘Sacred Sight’ to wet your appetite for our discoveries. Not only are we discovering new things here in Hawai’i, but all over the world. The documentary goes to Australia too, where shocking new discoveries are being made, putting Australia on the megalithic map as well. Just the fact that we are making new discoveries at all, is an accomplishment of it’s own. ’Sacred Sight’ is just the beginning of a series making new discoveries on uncovering our hidden lost chapters of human history. If you have means to support our works financially, it is most appreciated, because this is a self funded work on a shoe-string budget.
